Today at school, our math teacher, Ms.Crowell showed us how to play a game called "Farkle!" Almost the same as Yahtzee, the players take turns at rolling 6 dice to get as much points as possible. When you "farkle" that means when you rolled your dice, you didn't get the right roll to get points. Then, you pass along the dice to the next person. Every time you farkle, you have to skip your turn and pass to the next person. You can play with 2-4 players, and the first person to 10,000 points wins! Every one else in your group gets one more turn to beat the player with 10,000. Chance and probability is the whole meaning of the game, because you have 6 dice to roll as much points you can get!
"Farkle" is the best game that our teachers let us play. With all different kinds of math and math terms, we get to also have some competitiveness. As you may know, everyone wants to win. It was sooo fun for the kids and teachers to watch the kids use math terms and have fun. If you are reading this, try out the game called "Farkle" and come down to TPS school.
