In 5th grade we worked on cork cars in Mrs. Prunier's room with both the classes.
Mrs. Prunier likes to do hands on activities with the 5th grade and she let's us do fun things. The reason we did the cork cars were because of the friction and the force for science connections. The 5th grade had a race for the cork cars and measured how far the cork cars went. But some times the wheel will break off so we had to be careful and make adjustments so it can be better so it can get faster. We put Einstein and the ghost buster guy in the cars so the cars could have some weight in the car so it can go faster and down the ramp. It was hard to make the cork cars because, the two classes only had one straw, two tooth picks, four corks, and other supplies to work with for two people.
