Today we learned about the Salem Witch Trials. We learned that 19 women, 1 man, and even two dogs were killed for supposedly practicing witchcraft. Over two hundred were accused of being witches. A man named Mr.Sullivan was practicing to be a teacher so he came to our classroom to practice. He came from a school named Worcester University. When Mr. Sullivan came he gave us an assignment to draw our visual of a fantasy witch and a Salem witch. Our classroom also did a reenactment of the Salem witch trials, and there were over 20 different characters and each student got a part. The first three ''witches'' were named Sara Good , Sara Osborne , and Tituba , a poor servant. There were only four girls who started this huge problem. These four girls lied throughout the whole story. They watched as hundreds of people were harshly punished for there actions.
