The previous week the class has been working hard on filling up our marble jar. We succeeded and we filled our jar up a couple of days ago! We decided on outdoors day, so the science and math part was doing an egg drop. The math part of this activity was: the height and measurement of where your contraption dropped. The science part of this activity was: forces, energy, and design process. The custodians gave us a step ladder to launch our eggs off. Once we made our tools, we brought them outside and let them fly off our step ladder and watch! At first, it was very windy, but we found a place where it wasn't as windy. There were lots of great designs and almost all of them worked. In the end, everyone learned something and had lots of fun!!!
