Oh my GOSH!!!! Guess what!!! There's a VERY special day coming up!! No, it's not Christmas or Thanksgiving. It's December 10th, the day the 5th grade of Thomas Prince School gets to go on a field trip to every veteran's grave in Princeton to place a wreath on it.I know it doesn't sound exciting, but it really is. Well, at least for the 5th grade. It's also really exciting because elementary schools rarely get to do this,at least with Wreaths Across America. Wreaths Across America is a business that, every December, puts wreaths on every veteran's grave in the places they stop to do so. They always start in Harrington, Maine and end at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. It's helps let people remember who died fighting for our freedom and religion, and how they didn't let there dreams of freedom go. In 2007, the Worcester family, along with veterans, and others who had helped with their annual Christmas wreath ceremony in Arlington, formed Wreaths Across America ,to continue this effort , and support others who want to do the same. This organization has a mission to remember, honor and teach. We are doing this to remember the lost veterans of Princeton and also to teach children and adults. If you buy one, you can help TPS put it on one of the 300 Princeton veteran's graves.
